Tackle--General
Species Tips
Bass
- Surface and diving plugs not longer than 2", spinner
baits, and rubber body jigs with slip bobbers.
Northern
Pike - Always a challenge to get into the boat, but the
fight is always exciting. We like to use spoons and spinner
baits, mid sized surface and diving plugs and 6-12" leaders.
Pan Fish
- We like to use a slip bobber, spinner and assorted jigs in
medium sizes.
Walleye
- It's best to experiement but we like to use about a 2"
sinking plug, mid size spinners, floating jigs and slip bobbers.
A
wise person once told me "a bad day fishing beats a good
day working"!
