A Winter Festival Event

Join us on Sunday, February 5th or 12th as Northern Lights Lodge celebrates winter with our 5th Annual Dog Sled Ride event as a part of Ely's Annual Winter Festival.
Experience for yourself why Ely is known as the Sled Dog Capital of the World.
Bill Slaughter and his Northwoods Guide Service crew and
sled dogs will thrill and entertain everyone on a one-plus mile long ride along the shore of Bear Island Lake.
Stay all warm and cozy as you watch these wonder dogs pull from our lake side winter bonfire!
In the Lodge we'll have a fire on the hearth, sled-dog-themed entertainment, hot chocolate, coffee and tea, fresh popped popcorn and cookies.
